The Endless Mountains Quilt Guild was formed as a non-profit organization in May 1995. The purpose was to further the art of quilting through education and to provide a means of sharing ideas, materials, skills, and fellowship.
The guild meets on the second Thursday of each month at the St. John's Lutheran Church, 207 Hopkins St, in Sayre, PA. The meeting starts at 10:00 am in odd months and 7:00 pm in even months, unless otherwise noted on the meeting schedule. There is no meeting in July and we have an off site picnic in August. We have a potluck holiday party at the December meeting. Many members arrive early to visit with their quilting friends and enjoy refreshments. After each meeting we have Show & Tell to share our quilts, experience, and knowledge with others. Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting to see if they would like to join our guild.
In case of inclement weather, our policy is to cancel the monthly meeting if Sayre School District has canceled school for the day of the meeting. If schools have a two hour delay, we will still have our meeting. School closings are announced on the following local radio stations: WATS/WAVR (102.1 FM - Sayre), Wiggle (100.3 FM - Troy), and WTTC (95.3 FM - Towanda).
Membership costs $15 per year. Our fiscal year runs from May 1 through April 30, so membership renewals are due on May 1. Click EMQG membership to request a membership form.
